World Stroke Association – World Stroke Day Oct 29

The World Stroke Campaign (WSC) provides education and support for stroke survivors and their family members as well as doctors involved in stroke treatment, stroke management and stroke rehabilitation. A main focus of the WSC is the annual World Stroke Day, for promoting stroke awareness to the international community and working towards pushing stroke to the forefront of the global health agenda  

We want to organise a camp for stroke prevention and treatment in our hospital for a week in which we will screen patients for risk factors.
We want to organise a program for doctors on the prevention and treatment of stroke;
We want to launch a website about stroke, “brainattack.in” on that day;
We want to distribute pamplets on stroke treatment on World Stroke Day;
We are planning to give interviews on TV and in newspapers.
